Best Shows on Netflix

Now I love Netflix but more often than not, you end up spending an hour scrolling not really knowing what to watch. Therefore I have listed a few of my favorite shows for you all! Hope you enjoy and find it helpfull.

Jessica Jones
Genre: Action, psychological thriller, superhero fiction

I LOVE THIS SHOW! I watched this in one go and it's omg good. The show revolves around Jessica Jones who's a character from the Marvel universe, aka a superhero, when someone from her past comes back to haunt her. The show is so well done and intense that once you've started watching you just can't stop.

Grace and Frankie
Genre: Comedy

I first heard Claire Marshall talk about this show in one of her videos, so I thought I'd give it a go. Let me tell you it did not disappoint! It follows Grace and Frankie who despite their differences, becomes friends after their husbands announce that they are in love and have been for the past 20 years. As you can imagine this calls for some hilarious moments and is guaranteed to make you laugh.

Master of None
Genre: Comedy-drama

This show is about a 30 year-old guy named Dev, who is trying to make it as an actor in New York. You follow his life mostly surrounding his three friends and his love life. This show does a brilliant job at making it humorous, yet meaningful with some heavily emotional scenes (I shed a few tears not gonna lie). I watched both seasons in one go, it's an easy, comfy show to watch.

Genre: Teen drama, comedy-drama

Skins is a British tv-show I remember watching years ago, before Netflix. It is relatable, real and it doesn't try to sugarcoat anything, when it comes to the lives of the teens in the show. At the same time the show has an overall humorous tone, so it doesn't feel heavy or too intense. It's a great show with some amazing young actors.

Genre: Action, crime drama, superhero

Daredevil is, like Jessica Jones, a character from the Marvel universe, who has special abilities - despite being blind. It's a harsh and at times brutal show that keeps you wanting more. It has an amazing cast, especially the main character and it doesn't hurt that he is fiiiiiine as hell.

The OA
Genre: Mystic, drama, science fiction, supernatural, fantasy

This might be the weirdest show I've ever watched, but as I continued watching, I couldn't seem to stop. The show is about a blind woman, Prairie, who has been missing for seven years. She suddenly returns with strange marks on her body, and with her sight back. Throughout the episodes you see flashbacks of where she's been, and what she's been through. It's very intense and definitely not a feel good show, but if you're in the mood for a supernatural mind-fucki show, this is a good and interesting show to get involved in.

Honorable mentions (aka shows that everybody knows are the bomb): OITNB, Stranger Things, Riverdale.
